Before you come in

A few things that help

Bring the key, and every key you have if the visit is about keys or fobs.
If a warning light comes on, take a photo of the dash while it is lit.
Note when the fault happens: cold start, at speed, over bumps, after sitting a few days.
Mention any recent work by other shops, including parts that were already replaced for this fault.
