Approach
How the job runs
- Step 1
Look before quoting
Tony inspects the vehicle, measures brakes and tires, and checks the suspension and steering before writing anything up. You get told what needs doing now and what can wait.
- Step 2
Approve the work
The quote lists the parts and the labour. If he opens it up and finds something else, he phones you before touching it.
- Step 3
Done and road tested
Torque, fluid levels and service lights are checked, then the vehicle is road tested before you pick it up.

Same job, independent rate
Brakes and suspension are not where a dealer earns its premium. The difference here is who does them: the same technician who handles the diagnostics and programming, so nothing gets missed because it was electrical rather than mechanical.

- The work done and road tested before you get it back

- Anything else he noticed written down, with what can wait
- A safety inspection certificate where one applies
Cost
What moves the price
Mechanical work is quoted from the parts and the labour time. The variables are the parts you choose and what the job finds.
Whether you want original manufacturer parts or a good aftermarket equivalent. He will tell you where it matters and where it does not.
How seized or corroded the hardware is. Niagara winters mean bolts that snap instead of turning.
Whether the vehicle needs a safety inspection at the same time.

General Repair questions
Do you do oil changes and regular maintenance?
Yes. Oil and filter, tire rotations, fluids, filters, belts and the scheduled services in your owner's manual. Call the shop to book a time.
Do you do safety inspections?
Yes. Book ahead and tell us what the inspection is for, so the right amount of time is set aside.
Can you look at a noise I cannot describe?
Yes. Bring it in and tell Tony when it happens: braking, turning, over bumps, at speed. He will road test it with you if that helps pin it down.
How long will my vehicle be in the shop?
It depends on the job and on parts availability. You get an estimate when you book, and a call if anything changes.
